Now Sorted.
Just to clear matters up. Thanks to everyone that PM'd and to those who couldn't do it but wanted the venue's details, keep watching.
They wanted us to do it, but we can't so I agreed to find a band for the night. I worked on the principal of "first in-get's the job" and I reckon the band that is doing it is dead right for the opening.
I am not being perochial as the chances of us playing there are pretty remote but, they are re-opening a pub and the management are run ragged just trying to get everything ready for "open doors". The last thing they need is a stream of "gis a gig" phone calls.
They will probably be joining NWB after this week-end and are hoping to run regular Sat night band nights. It won't be any particular genre, they want something different each week, so bags of scope.
