whilst i dont 100% believe in all this conspiracy stuff that flies around recently there has been quite a bit of stuff on about it and some of the evidence is quite hard to argue with. theres some weird stuff.

i dont know all the facts, figures and specific details like some but its all out there somewhere.

makes for interesting reading if nothing else

most interesting stuff I saw on this was the stuff about melting metal at the towers and how there were residues of stuff .... (can't remember names etc) ... that was serious explosive stuff that shouldn't have been there. Clips of the questions about it being blatantly ignored during the commissions etc.
Funnily enough I've only just now (10 years later) come across something about Number 7 Twin Towers (???) apparently a building that fell over when it shouldn't have!! I'm off to read about that now.

Something funny about the whole thing. The core of the towers were steel, it wouldnt have just collapsed down on itself...try stacking dominoes!

And don't forget that the planes (that were CGI'd on to missiles....allegedly) didn't have any windows in and didn't bear the markings of either of the airlines said to have been hijacked......oooooh and don't get me started on the insider trading - official studies found significant anomalies in the number of shares in those airlines that were sold immediately prior to 9/11.

Now....where did I leave my tin foil bobble hat.....I need to keep the thought police out...they will have registered my increased neural activity by now, after all, I'm usually only thinking about my impending tea at this time of day.

I somehow ended up with a DVD copy of a press conference held a few years later that questioned a lot of the 911 events - some of it goes into really extreme scientific detail (a lot more than your usual 911 conspiracy theory programmes on the docu channel) but I found it interesting and certainly made me question a few things.

On the other hand there was something on TV the other night about a group of young English studenty types convinced it was an inside job - they went on a road trip across America whilst an Irish geezer was trying to convince them their theories were a load of bollocks. That was also an interesting watch and did make me think hmmm these conspiracy people are a bit one dimensional - no matter how much some of their theories were clearly crushed they were having none of it.

Which ever way you sway, the debate will go on for years but I think there'll always be something dodgy about it all.

The oddest theory to my mind is the one that postulates that approx 4000 jews took the day off on 9/11 and that not one Jewish person died in the attacks......and furthermore that most of the people who got home recordings of the second plane/missile/cartoon hitting were.....drum roll......Jewish.

As if we're expected to believe a whole race of people were not only in on it, they didn't tell any of their co-workers, they managed to keep it secret, and then trotted downtown with their Sony handycams to film the whole thing.
