You spend a year finding a guitarists then............

......Tim (the other guitarist) AND Keith (drummer) decide they dont want to be a part of it any more....
So, we are very firmly right back where we started months ago, turning down good paying gigs and having to drop gigs we have booked well in advance....
We are having a shufty at a drummer this week and we may well have guitarist sorted, however if there is any body in NWB land who may be intertested, check our set list on here, alternatvely have a look at our very expensive website, (you can view some vid footage) and if you are still interested. then give us a shout..

kind regards

Gaz..

its tough guys but you gotta persevere ...... we set LA80 up .... battered a set together for a gig in 8 weeks, did 1 full gig and 2 half sets and then guitarist declared he didnt like the stuff......from 100 mph to full stop in the blink of an eye......2 choices dissolve the whole thing or get someone else in....and thats what we have done.....

Its hard but its different personalities with different egos/desires/ideas on what the band should be/different preferences and ultimately different 'favourite' tunes......you just gotta draw em in and pander to the egos/incorporate some of their ideas/beg steal borrow and lie until they buy into the project completely.....

Weve all done it countless times before and im under no illusion that we will again in the future.....

Life goes on eh? .... good luck with the venture...

its a problem weve come across to many times ,having to drop gigs or get somebody else in, commitment is hard to come by, we named our band square 1` thats where we always ended up after nailing a set and getting booked, we,d always get dropped in it last minute, good luck

Hiya Chris, thanks for thinking about RED ZOO, looks like we might well have our guitarist sorted, and we are auditioning 4 drummers over the next two weeks, if we get sorted pretty soon we should be ready well before the new year.. so we would be really gratefull if you would keep us in mind..

Just read your blog re your transformation. hope all goes well for you.

all the very best

Gaz
