The night Bacup came alive!
Played the Swan Hotel for the first time last night, situated on the main road between Stacksteads & Bacup in Rossendale Valley. Didn't really know what to expect, a guy who'd seen us a couple of months ago asked if we'd sort a gig there (supposedly loads of Punk fans in the area). As it turned out there are, fookin loads of 'em!
Its great to have played on some big stages this year but these smaller more intimate gigs can be really fun to play....even the power cut early in 1st set turned into a mass singalong to SLF's famous intro tune 'Go For It'....a thoroughly enjoyable night.
Nice to see people who'd travelled from out of the area too. Defintely one we'll be revisiting next year. We're on at the Hare & Hounds just down the road in November, looking forward to that one if last night is anything to go by.
