not a gig review.....

I had a night off tonight and went out with Scott from Metalleeka to watch them in a pub called the Castle in Accrington. 18th Birthday do, but the place was open to anyone.

I've gone on record before stating that I'm not a big Metallica fan. I go to the gigs because Scott is one of my closest friends. But I don't play at lip service.

Tonight I saw a unit that it would be hard work to fault. Apparently friday was a different matter (according to them), but tonight I wouldn't have liked to go on after them.

It's really heartwarming to see a group of friends who go out to be the best that they can, put in a formidable performance and don't ride the complacency wave that can come from being popular.

Thx dude
Would've made my night though if that woman who got up to mosh during Sandman had face-planted that birthday cake...it was a close call pmsl
Great night considering we are probably the last band you would book for a function but seeing as a majority of them were metalheads it was awesome.
And Rick, we could've picked you up, but you would've had to sit on the bonnet clinging to the window wipers as me car was rammed with gear. Lol
