Bloody hell I know quite a few guitarists could do with that kind of a wake up call. (Whilst we drummers are, of course, beyond reproach!)

I love this. I don't think I've ever played (apart from RoxStock) a multi band event where some over inflated weapon hasn't delayed the next band on by over-running the set time "because the audience want more of us" or decide they'll take their time setting up/stripping down. Complete, unprofessional crap. If the organiser is running late, fair enough. If you're holding up proceedings cos you can't get your monitor/guitar/mic mix right suck it up or lose the equivalent time from your set, diva. Overrun and you'll sound like ass. Those 2 sliders are going down and you're miming to an acoustic drumkit.

This is why I don't organise events. lol.

i adore henry rollins and have done for several years .... his music isnt to everyones taste i will freely admit and acknowledge but he does have an attitude that i really really admire...

He looks intimidating and his stage persona is certainly that, but you have gotta admire the mans moral code.

I heard him do standup ... or spoken word as he called it because, and i quote "there are a million and one stand up comedians who do comedy a million times better than me who should be getting this gig, however some promoter somewhere has decreed that i have an appropriate level of status that will bring in a significant level of revenue to help them to pay off the porsche, and regrettably i cant afford to turn down the level of paycheck on offer." Talk about selling yourself!!! and he was damn funny, damn educated and didnt really miss any of his targets.....
