T-Shirt printing? Where?

Is it worth it?

I got a 'one-off' t-shirt printed a bit ago & every gig we've done since, people have been asking me where they can get one from. So I'm looking into getting some printed.....but based on my initial findings it ain't cheap!

Where do you get your t-shirts printed & how much per shirt?

Also do you sell em or give em away? Not interested in making a profit but we don't wanna be out of pocket - so based on one quote this morning: unless people are willing to pay £7 for a shirt there's not really much point.

Advice please people...

Cheers
Dean

we'd definately like to look into getting something like this sorted. does alyerpal not have the means to knock some up?

i know ryan the drummer in the subliminals used to do em pal not too sure if he still does or not but deffo give him a ring as well

from what ive seen previously unless your buying in BULK it really isnt worth the inital layout.

personally speaking i dont like selling anything to punters be it, music, badges, tshirts etc id rather give stuff away to get the bands name out there but i suppose if youre that way inclined just figure out how much it'll be a unit and then sell them accordingly.

we have used a guy in Dukinfield called Kurt-his number is 07896 184125, he did a great job for us, 1 offs are probably about £15 but the more you do i'm sure it gets cheaper
tell him ian from Rock Engine told you about him

The Metalleeka lads get their T-Shirts printed. You could ask them. But be careful, they may try and sell you one. Hell, they sell themselves t-shirts all the time to get the practice in ;o)

We had about 100 of the first design Metalleeka t-shirts printed over the last year and a half and sold probably about 60-70 of them at £10 a pop. Gave the rest away to various people for various reasons.
Price started at just under £6 a t-shirt then with costs rising peaked at about £8 a t-shirt.

James has just got new t-shirts designed and done by a different printer but you would need to check with him to see how much they cost. Still selling them at £10 a pop.

@ Deano Gary from LGIT recommended these to us and although we haven't bought in bulk they were quality at a fair price

i got a few done at the ace workwear shop on pall mall in chorley,
but the guy charges 10 quid for a single print and another fiver if
you want a website on the back, watch the sizes cause he will palm you off with a
xl without saying if you have asked for a large size if he has no large in stock.
also he promises it for the day after and then does not come up with the goods,
apart from that he does sort them eventualy. on a good point he will order you
a womans tee with no sleaves or v neck style, with one or two waiting days.
or whatever you choose out of his catalog.
