Chorley Jam or f**k about night????

Are there any?

I see loads of jam nights popping up here there an everywhere but I'm too lazy to be arsed to travel lol.
Was just thinking that I've got nothing planned for tonight and thought it would be cool if there was a jam night or even just somewhere we, and anyone else who has fek all planned for tonight, or any other night, could just meet up and have a play and jam some different stuff.

If there isn't one, anyone know any venues in Chorley that would be happy to let us scare off their punters for a couple of hours one night during the week?

Even if it's to write some original stuff or whatever and just generally have a night out away from evening tv or facebook lol

If anyone is interested then speak up.
If it sounds like a shit idea then just tell me to STFU :-D

With the level of talent in Chorley - Metaleeka, Bad Horsie, Vankwish, Total Eclipse and many more - a jam night in Chorley would be absolutely immense. And for that reason alone, I would travel from Stockport if such an event ever happened.

Well as for open mic type nights there's one at The Ley Inn in Clayton le woods that's run by our good friends Pete & Lynda. It's on Sunday nights (though I'm not sure if its every week - I'm trying to find out now).

Seems a bit cosy from the pics but will surely be worth a look if Pete and Lynda are behind it :)

@Stixy - as an ex-band member you should know better that what goes on at rehearsal stays at rehearsal ;-)

ps. I sense this may become a 100+ if certain members get carried away.. apologies in advance Scott

Well I don't mind a nice bit of jam and crumpet, but I don't like the ones with chunks in.

Where shall I bring me crumpet to?

Mark, I'm sure the missus won't mind just one more night out a week. It's not like you have any other bands on the go or anything..............So that'll mean you are only out 8 nights a week now. What's her problem lol.

Although not quite so keen on the idea of Marc rubbing rhinohipnol on my face while scott tries to make me swallow his 'special beverage'. Thats not my idea of a fab night out..... although anything that dulls the senses to the delights of chorley may not be such a bad thing
