soundman with PA needed for this sat

please help

hiya Black Rose are due to play the Nags Head Macclesfield this sat 29th oct and we urgently still need a stand in soundman with PA, or we will have to pull our gig which we would be gutted to have to do

please let me know if you can help, fee will be an equal share of the takings as the rest of the band

John, sound is easy. You simply set the levels/EQ, then gradually turn the guitarists and bass player down during the course of the gig to compensate for the "slight adjustments" made onstage ;o)

I know a few people but an equal share of a pub gig probably won't swing it. Let me know if you are really stuck and I'll pass on a number and you can speak to them yourself. They usually do big gigs but they could sort something for you. You'll have to discuss money with them and see if you can come to some arrangement.
