.....at nearly 2am?

For me, it's insomnia. Although technically can it be called insomnia when I only ever got about 4 hours sleep even when I slept "normally"?

The wee hours are when I get my best editing done, transcribe a few songs (since I can hardly practice at 2am in a terraced house) and watch B movies whilst pondering how they ever got the finance to get made.

Indeed it is a great resource. After all not many webmasters would allow the blatant promotion of the north west's premier installers of all things windowy and doorsy....

Tel I'm a bit concerned that you choose to come here in such a situation instead of seeking medical attention for a clearly faulty sphincter muscle.

Tel - in that situation wouldn't you be better going to the toilet?

i usually end up working at the bench into the wee small hours i'm a jewellery designer/ goldsmith ,and my pc is in the workshop so i read this site while i have a tea break, its a good site there's always something worth reading, even if it includes dodgy sphincter muscle control :-)

OK its 0230...
I've just woken up after 2 hours sleep and that will be me done until tomorrow afternoon. I hope to get at least another hour before tomorrows gig (Hoop and Mallet, Warrington - blatant plug sorry)

I agree - insomnia is shite. It's probably a bad habit but I just sleep when I know I can, it's pointless trying when I know it's not going to happen.

So I'll go and dip into the cauldron of chilli that is festering in the kitchen then I've got season 4 of Big Bang Theory to watch while I run through a few new tunes we are learning and trawl through t'interweb for anything to distract me from not feeling tired.

Maybe we are undiagnosed geniuses and our minds work on a higher level than mere mortals. That's my story anyway.

Dave.
