Looking for a new guitar player

Due to me re-locating..read on..

I am moving to Australia in a couple of months and my guitar cable won't reach that far so I will be reluctantly stepping down. Jez is also going to make a break for it as he has other plans for the New Year.

Wierdly the rest of the band have asked me to help find my/Jez's replacement.

We play a selection of Indi/rock covers mainly in pubs around north Manchester although we do travel further afield for the right opportunity.
Rehearsal weekly in Bolton and gig twice a month on average. This suits us all in terms of commitment as it's really just for fun and a buzz.
Most of the set list is on our profile. We are currently 5 piece (2 guitars) but in the New Year will become 3 piece, drums, bass and vox so need to find someone who can handle a single guitar role or 2 guitarists who can mix and match rythmn and lead. Backing vocals would also be good.
The band are easy to get on with, no egos', early mid 40's and are open to re-working the set to accomodate new stuff. (Looking for same age group)
If anyone is interested or knows someone who may be interested please PM us on here or contact me on 07921078821.

Thanks for looking

Alan

Just to add to Al's comment. We do play a few songs slightly different to the originals - we made them our own as Louie Walsh would say. If a new guitarist comes in and wants to, I'm happy to hang in and show arrangements or gig alongside till a 2nd guitarists come in (if required).

There's nothing too taxing in the set and as Al says, it's very easy going and there's no hissy fits and shit!!! lol

Also worth mentioning, as it stands we've only got 3 gigs and a battle of the bands semi left - so get your arses down if you're free!

(plugging till the last! lol)
