Anyone near Northwich?

I have a Fender hot rod guitar amp. Not actually gigged much.

Last time I used it there was no problem. When I got it out again recently the reverb does not reverb! I have taken the back off and checked the connections to the spring and they seem ok but no sound comes out.

Any advice as to what it might be, or a number of an amp tech in the Northwich area? I used to use Dave Lunt in Stockport but he is now quite a way from where I am. Northwich Music Centre kindly gave me a Nantwich guy's number but is there anyone nearer?

If you were intent on keeping the amp wouldn't you be better served with an external reverb unit, my lead guitarist and myself have both had the amp in question and really found the reverb worse than useless, other than that, it's a bit of a trek but Gee Electronics at the end of the M62 in Liverpool is my first choice.

Bob, I would recommend Dave Lunt in Stockport.
