7 pin MIDI Extension cable

or female to female adaptor

How hard can it be to find? I've been looking for ages now and can't find 7 pin midi extensions to extend the lentgh of the pedalboard cable on my Switchblade.

I need either a female to female adaptor or a cable with a male end and a female end.

Might as well scour Amazon for rocking horse poo.

Any of you midi folks got any pointers or sites to try?

Thanks in advance :o)

speak with Keith (Kingpin) I'm sure he's done some modding and stuff on this subject.

7pin stuff is like hen's teeth, I recall trying to get summat for my ADA MP1

failing that you could get a chassis mount female connector and solder it a normal male to male lead yourself..

or... why not by an extremely long male to male 7pin??

Cheers James. I already have a 20 foot Midi cable that I was going to use with my X3 pedalboard. If I could just find a female to female adapter I'd be sorted. I'm not confident with soldering this kind of thing and don't have the equipment to do it.

I'd forgotten Keith had a Switchblade once. If I can't find the suitable kit I might have a word with him :o)

Similar mate but it needs male/female rather than male/male. Ahem. If you catch my drift. lol.
