Thank goodness it's a Bank Holiday
Big thanks to everyone that came to The King's Head and Fingers Bar this weekend. Two full houses, a good deal of audience participation and a round of applause that almost brought a tear to my eye....almost. It's because of gigs like that that we do it.
Promising news for all bands on the site:
At the last 2 or 3 gigs we have had several people asking for cards as they are trying to get new venues up and running.
I've already posted the details of The Stocks Hotel in Walkden and I have asked those that took cards to register the venues here. One is The Rope & Anchor in Atherton picking up where the Barrel left off and another called The Butchers which may have been in Horwich. I was 5 pints the worse for wear at the end of last night so I don't rightly remember what the lady said. She had a nice smile though!
