I heard he was a Sunderland fan years ago, I know Don Airey is , Don's family lived 1/4 mile from mine as a kid.

One of my heroes too, The stuff he wrote for the first 2 Ozzy albums was immense pity he's still fighting for credit. Got a very nice collection of P and Zemaitis Basses.

Yes his mum is originally from Sunderland, although to be honest he only follows the world cup tournament's as a rule. He said he was happy for me to put his Mams team on here, lol.
Grooverman is right , Bob got back straight away !
Don Airey is more of a fan however, in days before the Internet and satellite TV he used a powerful multi band radio to keep up with SAFC results around the world. Don has helped NE band "The Force" by guesting on some of their recordings and he turns up at some of their gigs, I met him at one of their gigs in my hometown of Sunderland a few years back at a lovely venue situated by the river Wear called The Ropery. He is quite shy but is very polite and quite a happy little soul.
