Well, I wasn't expecting that...
BLACK PILATE did their first gig at Porters Ale House in Warrington on Saturday night, and we have to say that the place blew us away!
Anyone that's been there will probably already know that it's one of, if not the smallest venue on the circuit, but that doesn't stop them packing the place out - and I mean PACKED! We literally couldn't move for people, they were everywhere - in front of us, down both sides, even behind the band! It must've sounded pants back there, but it didn't stop them going for it. A great crowd who love their rock music.
In a time where there's a lot of doom and gloom around, it's great to know that real top-drawer venues like this are still putting the effort in, and thriving as a result. One of the best nights in a long time, and we will definitely be back.
