The Extras at the Jolly Nailor last night...

A quick review...

Two words...

F**king brilliant.....

The biggest compliment I can pay this band was the fact that my guitarist/driver wanted to stay and chat 'after' the gig...he NEVER stays to the end...
He said ''I'd travel to watch them again'' & ''That's the best guitarist I've seen on the Pub circuit''
High praise indeed...and they deserved it.
The Extras offer something different, a shock to the system for many...but if you are gonna try and do something different then you need to be good enough to pull it off...and these guys are VERY good...serious players.
Razor Sharp, Guitar Driven Rhythm & Blues...Frantic, Energetic, Passionate and to floors in the Jolly Nailor were Tapped to Death...
The Rock loving Jolly Nailor regulars took their time to adjust but by the end of the night they were screaming for more...word got around town that something special was happening and the 'Rock Room' was soon full of appreciative applause to every song...the wide eyed expectation of 'what's next' all over their 'satisfied but wanting more' faces.
I can honestly say The Extras are right up there with the best bands on this circuit and more importantly...they offer something 'different'...and they entertain...
Yet another top night at the Jolly Nailor too...no wonder all the bands want to play there...
Check out The Extras...TOP band.
