I thought I'd heard of everything but....

I actually love the tech on this, and it should be made mandatory for some players.
This would save everyone a shitload of time and space, not to mention money in spare/alternate tuned guitars.

Hahaha! Agreed. I can't stand out of tune instruments.

Neil Young must be informed immediately!

Hmmmm

If Orange Juice had used this on "Rip It Up", I would not to have to suffer the worst guitar "solo" I have ever heard for years.... ;-)

Best wishes

John

Technology will soon have robbed all music abilities that usually have to be developed over years of practice! Cant play a whole song or even half of it? Its fine we can now do it bar by bar on pro tools or even note by note if you feel like. Cant play in time? Its fine we can use time shift or just grab and move! Cant bend in tune or sing in tune? Pitch correct! Cant work out how to play a song? Its probably available as a lesson on youtube or as tab and if not there are many computer programs that slow it down to a 10th of its original speed and tells you what chords are being played...

Now there is no need to even tune your instrument? Even if it is annoying when you go out of tune being able to tune your own instrument and know when it is slightly sharp or flat is a skill that develops your ear and makes you more sensitive to differences in pitch. Soon we wont have to play, their are already robots with 25 arms that can play Bach on guitar faster than any human...

I may have missed the point here, but $500 to not be a useless can't tune a guitar lazy fecker? I don't know. $500 could buy quite a few nice items and a autotuner ain't one of them.

Sorry to be so blunt on my first comment Tony, but this really is the pits, Bright Shapes sums it up perfectly
