All Valve Beast

Recently had a full service by Dave Lunt at a cost of £160 (replaced 4 of the 6 EL34 power valves, resoldered some dry joints, re-baised, fixed faulty ‘Brilliant’ input jack socket and general clean up). Tatty looking tolex that has (at some point in its life) been repainted black – presumably to cover up some of the tears. Despite its looks it sounds as you expect from a 70’s valve amp i.e monumental! Real warm sound that breaks up beautifully when pushed – like valve amps should.

Im running it currently through an old Fender Bassman 2x15 cab and the punch and tone is brilliant. Unfortunately a downsize in gigging venues and baby on the way means im downsizing my entire rig.

The set-up is available to view/try in our studio at Harker & Howarths. Im looking for around £400 for the amp given what some of the non-serviced ones are going for on ebay. Pictures can be emailed.

p.s The cab is on ebay at the moment but if any viewers of the amp want to make an entire offer I can always pull it and sell the rig whole.
