@Boneyard Dogs - Not any more mate. I moved on. Band insisted on playing it, and lots of other old rock shit as well, so I moved on. You see I ditched the leathers, denims and long flared hair and all the old cliched rock rubbish when it became ancient and unfashionable - that's about 30 years ago then.

We've had a change of century since then, believe it or not. We've actually got colour flatscreen TV's and mobile phones that aren't as big as housebricks, and Ipads and Ipods and portable MP3 players so no need for the old Walkman cassette player. So no need for drummers to emulate the fluctuation in speed of a cassette mechanism. In fact, some homes can now actually boast running water, central heating and UPVC windows.

You can though, I believe, still buy cowboy boots on Ebay for a reasonable sum. I think they're advertised under "vintage" or "retro".

According to Wikipedia , "retro" is a culturally outdated or aged style, and also, for reference,

"The word "retro" derives from the Latin prefix retro, meaning "backwards" or "in past times" – particularly as seen in the words retrograde, implying a movement toward the past instead of a progress toward the future" - again from Wikipedia.

Now there's a good name for a few bands on here. RETROGRADE. Remember you saw it here first!!
