It was before the Indie and Rock bands developed a mutual understanding and grudging respect for each other. When the Originals bands used to harangue anyone who got paid to play covers.
Even the trolls back then were intelligent and created as much debate as angst, compared to these pale imitations who are simply trying to get revenge on the world just because they aren't allowed near the primary school any more.
