Really cool. Nice punky vibe to it as well.

Excellent website. Very clean layout, easy to navigate and intuitive to use.

Two comments though:-

1. I've always had a "thing" about websites that have audio accompaniment that start up automatically when the page loads as it's a dead giveaway when you're sat at your desk at work!

2. It'd be great if the photos in the gallery could be viewed as a slideshow or if you could press a button to move on to the next photo in the sequence instead of having to close the photo you were viewing and then opening another.

Oh and your bassist doesn't have a favourite band....maybe he's too busy OCD'ing over something to have chosen one yet!

Good points Tub:

1. I pondered over the auto music thing for that reason lol, I shall remove it now it has been confirmed such a feature could be a pain in the arse. Plus, isn't auto accomp considered tacky now on websites? I mean, that's why there's the 'Media' tab for visitors to listen to the audio tracks right!?

2. The gallery widget used is from Moonfruit's own widget collection - there doesn't appear to be the option for a slideshow. I shall look into a more sophisticated feature, but may have to go down the HTML route.

Thanks for the feedback.

It doesn't have to be a slideshow per se but I do love going through photos and it'd be great if you could more easily just go from one to the next right through the album as the thumbnails are so small they don't really serve as a useful way to determine which you might wish to enlarge ie I expect most would just want to go through them all full sized.

Yeah know what you mean, it would make it easier & like you say the thumbnails are quite small and don't clearly show what the photo is - there is the option to increase the thumbnail size but it would mean dropping maybe 2 lines of pictures. I just wanted a small collection of photos from different gigs/environments (band photos can get all samey, once you seen one stage shot the're all the same).

Any more suggestions keep em coming.

There is a slideshow option with moonfruit as I use one on our website, for how much longer though I aint sure. May do away with the slideshow as I need to up date the whole site in some way or another.

@Kasuals Lee
Thanks for that...think I've used that slideshow widget before, although I don't think it'd work on our new page layout. It works for you because you've set the slideshow at quite a large size across your site whereas I've only got a small black area to work with which means the size of the pictures would only be small anyway. Knowing me, I'll be trying different ways to showcase the gallery until I'm happy.

Funny you commented here actually Lee, I was searching for something to do with Moonfruit the other day in Google and come across the official Moonfruit forum with a question/answer I'd been looking for (can't remember what exactly). Needless to say it was your post in their forum, I recognised your band name!! So double thanks for that too.

Cheers
