We've got a couple of gigs there this year but I've no contact number, due to damaging my phone. Their not on NWB and don't have a website would appreciate anyone with the number passing it on Thanks

FFS, another new landlord who's last no more than 6 months, What's going om here.
Yet again ! This place is a fuckin Joke end off ! , Well over the last 3 years we have been booked here (as many have ) 14 times , all have been either cancelled ,Double booked ,etc etc , in fact we have only played the one there last year for keef , I spoke to Pete just 2 weeks ago , when i was concerned re our friday dates have gone (4 of em this year ) He said we still have 1 sat date and he would be in touch with more ! not a word he was leaveing !!!!!! So thats the Eddy ,gone , The Old bank Inn gone , The Oak gone , Blackpools is Fooked , I just hope now Stu makes the Talbot Rocks a growing concern and he keeps to his word of keeping a turnover of Fresh NOT NESC BLACKPOOL BANDS ON. that way it keeps it Fresh for the punters who are prob sick of the same old same old , Dont get me wrong i am not having a pop at Blackpools local bands , many of you know i lived there on the Fylde myself in the early days of Dakota , but even as a temp local i still couldnt get feet in doors.,Hence the Moan , It then needed the likes of Keef to have the forsite ,and now it looks like Stuart to , Things hopefully Should / Need to change Trig Wide berth , Not a chance etc etc
@Steve wolf agreed mate , and i hope you Know what i meen re local bands dude , I deffo aint havin a pop , we have spoke before on this 1 ehh ? In fact funnily enough the last discussion last year alone had nearly all the same members on again , lol ie steve , Roj , Mick Myself
@trig, seems like its turned full circle again at the oak landlord wise. Everytime this happens my heart just sinks followed by an urge to bang my head against the wall. I'm sure Den from On the edge will let us all know whats happening, but I do wonder why I bother with the place. Everytime a new landlord comes in, says they're in it for the long term and then they're off like a rat out of an aquaduct. By the way being a "Blackpool" muso, I know how cut-throat it is around here, many a grand-ma has been sold lol
lol, Trig, I'd forgotten about that. Looks like the Hop is heading in the same direction too.
Ha Ha ! Repetition ehh lads , Ahh well we live in hope AGAIN ! lol Sad tho when you can actually now set yer clock on the Oak closeing again eh ?
