Out On Bail / 5th Element / Sugar Bullets - NABD National Bike Rally 11-13th May, Chelford
Had our official letter through the post yesterday from legendary NABD Chairman Mr. Rick Hulse, it made my birthday it did seeing those back stage passes lol.
We saw Out On Bail down in Oxfordshire at the Autumn NABDness rally back in September, they were most excellent and looking forward to seeing them again.
And I'll finally get to see 5th Element! I've wanted to see them for ages but we have always been out gigging ourselves, then at the Autumn NABDness we were on stage at the same time (different marquees lol) so looking forward to seeing Ann & the boys strut their stuff. Had a quick chat with Ann on FB last night about who's buying the beer...mine's a pint! :)
Rick took a big gamble on us last year putting a Punk band in prime-time slots at both the Farmyard Party Rally and Autumn NABDness but both shows were received well beyond our expectations - all you can do is put 110% into your performance and hope people enjoy the show so it's nice to be considered again for 2012.
It's gonna be one helluva weekend...11th-13th May @ Astle Park, Chelford, Cheshire.
