I'm sorry but HE should not be allowed to A, have a guitar, B, have access to sharp things and C, be allowed near school yards.

WTF is he doing with his thumb the absolute bellend?????

I agree with Mick £2000 for an Epi= bolt on neck Epi too- I love the look though as a piece of art - maybe

You're not paying for the name or the guitar but the work that the guy has put into it.

I realise that. The question is why choose an Epi in the first place? No matter how unique the guitar, people will still look at the headstock.

I suppose Andy is right, it's more an art piece than a functional workhorse.

I love the concept though, makes me want to do it to a decent guitar myself, except I'm fucking toss at stuff like this, and I'm a lazy shit!

Only us geetar geeks would know it was an Epi- however- if your putting so much work into a guitar why not make the headstock unrecognisable- Epi's are easy to spot-

I love stuff like this I am always Frankenstrating- made a few Strats up from parts and my main band guitar is a concoction of different bits

Same here. I have a ratter RG that I need to finish off but can't be arsed soldering the input in.

I like the ones in the original post , the actual "steam-punk "style models. Not to keen on the other carved ones though later in the thread although a lot of work has gone into them... The Steam Punk movement is something Ive actually being looking into in recent months. The idea behind the movement is based around the what if ?
What if the Victorians had access to our modern day appliances and electrical goods , but made with Victorian styling , back engineered them .So a TV set built in the steam punk style would may have pressure gauges and a sound horn (like the HMV record player)
There's clothing (Victorian punk?) there is literature and art, all involved in this movement. Below Ive put a link that explains it better!
Anyone for a Jules Verne look. blues rock band with slide guitar. think, Will Smith in the wild wild west movie as a look.....Steam-Punk, Gothic, County, Blues, Hell- billy, preacher, rock and roll anyone?
