Sense of Humour Failure

After all the downbeat messages on here lately, I have noticed a few humour injections. I've also noticed comments being deleted by humourless posters.

If you're attitude to gigs matches your humourless attitude to blogs - then god help the audience.

If you can't laugh in these barren times, there is really no hope.

Don, you are on a yellow card for being 15 mins late last Monday at NWB Football.

I'll be watching you tonight - could be a straight red (after you've paid your fiver), lol,

Wick.

Removing replies to posts 'cos you don't like them is seriously out of order. Kinda makes you a little Hitler doing that. If your attitude to life is... "Only I am right" then you don't belong in a public forum in the first place. It's in people's nature to disagree, but the attitude of not liking and deleting replies should not be allowed.

I myself have blown my top many times and written things I shouldn't have done. Not on here. Only when I think about it later do I wish I could go back and delete it, but that's my choice, not the original blog poster.

The only reasons I can see for removing replies would be threats of physical violence, personal insults to self and family. That does not include calling someone a dickhead and so on. If we can't have at least a little insult here and there, we may as well all get gay and jump in the pool naked. Viva La Difference.

Haha what ya like...

I've noticed a few posts that have been deleted too. There was one particular (rather harsh but funny) comment I saw a couple weeks ago late at night about 11.30, by 7am it had been deleted by the blog originator lol.

You can't hide on NWB, people don't miss a trick!

Hi Don, i dont know if you are referring to the posts i left on the guitarist required blog earlier, if so dont confuse Alyerpal with me as my posts come up with the kingpin avatar, Al has his own account. If its not to do with that blog, i'll keep quiet, if it is then it will be my questions for that band that has been deleted.

Thanks

No, wasn't referring to just that blog, there have been a few that deleted comments and not even mine. I was apologising to Al for using his signature - but as he refuses to remember my name I take back the apology.

Yes Bal I am playing out Saturday with that nameless drummer from Kingpin and whoever else fancies it.

The headbanders non-Clique Clique will ride again - if it don't snow and we can find somewhere to go!
