Some nice changes to the NWB gig guide

The NWB gig guide is undergoing a few changes so it'll be easier to get a directly search filter URL/API

e.g. http://www.northwestbands.co.uk/gigguide/search/wrecked - All the Wrecked gigs

http://www.northwestbands.co.uk/gigguide/search/classic rock - All the classic rock gigs

You'll also notice that the urls dont have any aspx/.htm file extensions, so everything is nice and crisp.

So new developments of the gig guide coming soon. I need to work on the date range filter for starters! :-)

Nice work. Reckon you could incorporate 'Jam Night/Open Mic' as a genre?

Good un, Mr NWB! Any chance of sticking the gigs of bands on their own profiles, underneath their set list or something? That'd be cool. :)

Yep, next step is getting the profile pages sorted. Woody and I are tinkering with a few designs. Expect something on the lines of the purevolume.com band profiles. Just keeping it simple, then progressively introducing the new NWB only features.

The new gigguide url convention should make it easier to bookmark/save search criteria. Also it means google will be able to crawl the gigguide a lot easier, and hopefully get a better index position in the search engines.

lol. We have to get that thread a bit more attention yet, Pete, before i can transform that bag from a £10 item into a bazillion dollar prize fund. "send in the FEMBOTS!"
