I use Dunlop 1.5mm I've tried alsorts and these just work best for me only downside to the no grip so when my hands get sweaty they sometimes slip

Dunlop nylon - any except the very thin white one. The white ones are good for studio strumming or strumming at very low volumes but I can't use them live.

I've used Dunlops in the past but found them a bit slippy

These ones I'm using now are quite small, but they have an indent on one side and raised lettering on the other. They feel very secure betwixt my thumb and forefinger :)

I'm still using these. Have about 100 left.
John, my guitarist keeps borrowing them off me

You know you've 'made it' when you use personalised plectrums!

dunlop tortex .50s (the red ones) I've used them for years and I have a bag full of them in my guitar case so I'll not run out for a while :)

I also have some 'pick of destiny' picks. Dunno what thickness they are but i only really use them if I ever feel the need to use a bass pick when recording.

@ Mark L will give them a try -the profound 1, although not sure which one of 3?

I'm playing electro acoustic but lots of bar chords ( i know a bit silly but..). I was using Dava Control but these not hard enough and i broke a string on stage. I have been using Dunlop 88mm but no grip on them. I had a blog on here about plecs a while ago and got great tips!!

I'm using a Dunlop 1.5 for acoustic Bass and i'm on hunt for ultimate Bass Plec!!

Love Plecs, LOL

They're quite small, Donna. Probably a bit like Brian May's fabled sixpences. But they're okay for me cos I only have ickle hands :)

Good fun tho :)
