NWB Rock Band Elias.T.Hoth are heading for the Haigh Hall Music Festival Sunday 5th July 2009

ELIAS.T.HOTH are absolutely overwhelmed and extremely proud indeed to announce that they have been selected from more than 70 North West bands to be in the final 12 line up which will perform live at this years Haigh Hall 2009 Original Music Festival Sunday 5th July.

The band said they were simply stunned by the news, officially announced by Elias to the rest of the band after last weeks Saturday nights gig! “After some hysterical loud screaming by bassist Cy Dark at the initial shock of the news” said Lead Guitarist Sam Barnet, “it’s all taken rather a little time to sink in and really get to grips with the idea and concept of performing at such a high profile and prestigious event”.

“What is important now” continued Sam “is that the band are now becoming increasingly focused on the gig and above all are now looking forward to giving the Haigh Hall audience the very best of our unique home grown unforgiving, tell it like it is, hard edged rock and roll” !

“The Haigh Hall event is of National if not an International Standard and comparable with many other major music festivals throughout the UK and Europe and will certainly be one of the many highlights so far in the Elias.T.Hoth 2009 calendar”! Attendance at the event is expected to exceed more than 10,000 people this year possibly the biggest in the history of the festival to date!

Many bands and artists have gone on to greater things in the past including 2008 Haigh Hall Festival participant local girl Laura, who only just missed out on last years X factor final.

The festival is a high profile event organized and run by local the Wigan Borough especially for local original bands, who will be performing a diverse array of music including all kinds of original metal, blues, soul, rock and pop to name just a few of the varied styles that will be on show. The organisers are unanimous about all the bands original submissions the statement made by the selecting judges was beyond doubt that they were all 'top quality stuff' and the very best available on the original local music scene today!

The big show will kick off about 12.00 and run continuously through to 8.00 that evening. Elias.T.Hoth like each of the bands will perform a 45 minute live slot at the show. The final headlining show act is still yet to be officially announced by the organisers? The task of selecting the ultimate 12 bands from the original 70 applications proved to be a very traumatic and difficult task for the selection panel indeed. As the competition included the boroughs very finest with top class performances now eagerly anticipated from other bands including:- Snakes Hate Fire, Eighth Wave, The Adjusters, The Klang, Smudge, The Broken Door , To name just 6 of the final 12 and of course not forgetting the Mighty Elias.T.Hoth them selves!

Hi

Just wondered to what extent you could quantify or measure the improvements on the bands general profile, records sales, fan base etc following your attendance at haigh hall last year, if thats possible?

I would really be interested to get an angle on that, also anything you did not do perhaps you should have done in retrospect?

regards

Elias

Myself I can't really write ballards well, so people who can always really impress me! We might well be a good mix and contast as orginal acts on the same bill? Or perhaps we could do an exchange one of your ballard for one of our rock number!lol

I write what we call original hard ass mean kickin, hell fire and brimstone, southern state style blood spittin rock and roll! we have a blistering brand new 11 track album out called "LET SLEEPIN DEMONS LIE"

If you want to have a listen perhaps and see us why not try www.eliasthoth.com or elias.t.hoth myspace we have some stuff on youtube that you can access through the website

thnaks again for your interest and support much appreciated
