I'm here trying to learn these Metallica lyrics for Sunday and I can't believe how wrong I've been

It's amazing how wrong I've been over the years singing some of the lines :-D

The best one yet is for Creeping Death :

Correct lyrics

So let it be written
So let it be done
I'm sent here by the chosen one
So let it be written
So let it be done
To kill the first born pharaoh's son
I'm creeping death

My lyrics

So let it be written
so let it be done
I'm sensed for mine a chosen one
So let it be written
so let it be done
To kill the first born heroe's son
I'm creeping death

what the phuq does that mean? LMAO

I sh!t you not, I've been singing that for 20 years and cannot get my head around the real lyrics

ha ha ha

what a plum I am :-)

Come on guys, you must have better ones than that?

A mate of mine used to think that in 'A passage to Bangkok', Geddy Lee was singing 'we've been smoking lebanon' instead of 'wreathed in smoke in Lebanon'!

In the Queen song "Somebody to love", there was a line "I worked til I ached my bones"

I was sat in the car with me mum and dad and belted out "I worked til I ached my balls"

lol

I remember somebody asking me if I knew the riff to "Hey Love" by eric clapton. I said "Ehh? not sure if he's recorded a song called that, can you hum it to me?"

Sure!.. "heyyyy lovee!, ya got me on my knees, hey love".

*shook head*

LOL

I used to sing "Dirty deeds dunderjeek2
don't what the hell it was supposed to mean.

But, one of the funniest I ever seen was on www.kissthisguy.com (the mother of all misheard lyric sites)

It was ac/dc you shook me all night long.
I always think the funniest ones are ones that just make absolutely no sense at all, but you sing it because that's what it sounds like.

Any this one was "she had the sightless eyes telling me no lies" I think was the original line.
This guy had put "she had sank de sigh tako meeno lie!

LMAO
