get the 170 mate, you will always be kicking yourself if you dont, there will always be at time when you will need a 'touch' more headroom.plus, your tone will be better with a 15.

Them big cones are pretty slow moving in comparison to 10's I'd go up to 12 but not a 15 personally.

The 175 (couldn't find the 170) looks better and gives you the horns for the top end, but I'd worry about the 15" myself.

Thats my input

So you beat me beat me to it. Markbass. But maybe i am biased as i use a LMKII head.
The problem with just looking at Watts is that it is very misleading. Double the wattage doesn't mean double the "loudness".
There is a great feature about it on BassChat.

It's all down to good Cab Design and efficient speakers. The guy that wrote it also makes Barefaced Cabs and is using a well tried and tested design with lightweight 9mm ply.
Unfortunately most Combo's pay little attention to the Cab Design except: Eden, Phil Jones, EA and MarkBass, so what you will get is a compromise.
The comment from Woody is pretty much spot on about 15", except the latest generation Neo speakers are awesome.
I use a LMKII head and have 2 Zoot 1x12's and have just taken delivery of a Zoot 1x15 compact with an Emminence Neo speaker that only weigh's 37lbs and is awesome. Don't need a horn as it is good up to 4KHz. It's made out of a special lightweight 18mm ply so is mega-strong as well.
Have you thought about just buying a lightweight Cab and using your existing head?
If you want a chat, (cause I have researched the arse end off this subject), PM me your details and we can have a chat.
