Breaking News - Metalleeka announce Rob Redfern as new Lead Guitarist.

It just keeps getting better and better :-)

It was confirmed late last night that Rob Redfern of Hare Of The Dog has decided to join Metalleeka and just how excited are we???? LoL
Rob, like Kev will fit Metalleeka around his current band(s) and it should in no way conflict with either of Rob or Kev's current band commitments.
Rob came down last Wednesday and blew us away with both his personality and playing. He fitted in from the word go and we are absolutely delighted that he has decided to hook up with us. It sounded as if we had been playing together for years.

It is now officially an NWB supergroup :-)

So, the official lineup is :

Scott Beveridge : Jaymz : Lead vocals and Rhythm Guitar (ex Without Reason, ex Steelfield)
Gareth Webb : Lars : Drums (ex Riff Raff)
Kevin Garry : Cliff/Jason/Rob : Bass (Tuskan and Boneyard Dogs)
Rob Redfern : Kirk : Lead Guitar (Hare Of The Dog)

So here we go, heads down for the next few months, get the stuff bang on and hopefully get a couple of support slots maybe oct/nov time, so if anyone wants a support band this autumn then give us a shout.

ha ha, you'll need to start sucking helium to get Kirk's really squeaky voice too.
I was watching A yeah and a half in the life of Metallica pt 1 last night. I'm sure only dogs can hear Kirk speak.

I have to do the "Dreams of war, dreams of Liars, dreams of dragons fire and the things that will bite wammmowwwwwwwwwwwwww" LOL

yeah i was discussing the same with the hare hounds on saturday re: Getting 10 as andy dog was asking me if id brought my dog shirt to show people which yes did cost me 17 for 1, but yep even when you get to 10x they jump down in price lots and im sure theyll shift quick and hopefully make a coupla quid each into the bargain

ive been thinking today about stage wear too, ive got a couple of tallica t shirts(3 i think) but id love one of the "One" skull long sleevers that Jason newstead used to wear, or shall i go for the Kirk hammett leather pants look ha ha,(does he still wear them?) certainly thinking of the black shirt look anyways

or the black album era look, metallica t shirt, black skinny jeans and black high top b/ball boots ha ha, that would look really authentic!!

Nice one with Rob Dob joining the lineup - Top bloke, and top guitarist, Im sure he'll have no problem nailing them solos.

With regard to t-shirts, how about spreadshirt.co.uk? - I've used them for the NWB t-shirts and they work out to be about a tenner.

Just checked. £7.99 for the T's supplied and printed on one side only and 10% given for an order of 5 or more. Cheaper still if u supply the T's yourself.

Aye, Shirt Dessert are ace. They were in Leigh and i've had a few done by them. They've now relocated to Leyland. They print in different ways, depending on the colour of tee and print. They do it with vinyl, transfer or ink straight to the cloth. I have a t-shirt done by each of these methods and they wash lovely and don't peel. Their transfers are nothing like the kind you get at cheap shops. Plus, Shirt Desserts t-shirts are low priced when compared to other shops and they don't have a start-up fee, which a lot of other companies do. This is good, if you're like me, and just want a one off tee. Also, Jeff and Linda (the owners) are ace people and will do all they can to help you.
