Anybody have any idea's what's going on with this venue? Are they still having bands on or has another venue bitten the dust.

Got a gig there end of this month,but i need to cancel it.I've noticed there has not been any gig listing's for this venue just recenlty.Last posting on this site was that the landlord was meeting the council about noise levels.

Spoke to them last week
They lost there appeal to get there entertainments licence back and are considering complete closure due to lack of trade without being able to have bands on!
One bitter old man next door to the club complained of the noise levels??
He wasn't expecting any noise when he moved in next door to a working mens club?

maybe they should let it out to some immigrants on the social...see how long the old duffer puts up with that before he moves on (or passes on!)

that sounds like a real shame, good venue, it amazes me that at those kind of local moaners who were never young once.......

damn yeah think there is yeah, and i know were biased but its true: a loada rock fans are definitely better behaved than a load of Wkd swilling e taking chavs

Ive took Gordons advice too .....infact G(Dyehouse cheers mate ) has got us a gig @Fleece for our 21/11 gig that was booked there .......its a shame cos it was a good venue and was totally packed last time we were there .....bugger!!!
