todays press release for the Doggies
it is with a heavy heart that i have decided to step down as lead guitarist with Hare Of The Dog,probably at the end of 2009 to put full commitment with Metalleeka, this is a decision ive not taken lightly as we are at the very top of our game, and it has been a labour of love ever since Day 1 when i went for that pint with a Bolton bass player id met called Andy Kay, this led to the formation of the first lineup and practice with singer Steve Wise in Feb 2007
last gig for me will be probably at the end of 2009, till then we we will tearing it up as normal, the guys will shortly start the task of looking for somebody to fill my guitar spot into next year and beyond i really hope to see an absolute guitar wizard up there, and im not saying i ever am one myself(watch it there Rob.. Ego massage Police)
there is no musical differences.
no bust ups
we all are still firm friends as well as band colleagues.absolutely no change in how well we get on or no problems whatsoever.fact.
all the gigs thus far booked in for 2010 will still stand.
this change is approx 4 months away but you heard it here first, change in what will continue to be a wonderful band combining superb playing ,wonderful renditions of rock anthems and some of the friendliest ego free guys you will ever meet, i will definitely shed a tear and be quite emotional at what will be my last gig, possibly Old Isaacs in December, ive loved being a big part of making this band grow and grow to become so well respected and pals with some great other bands along the way
and i will shortly be passing the various Myspace website and NWB access details over to singer Steve
just a change in what i want to put my full musical commitment to and i have decided to go 100 percent Metalleeka
