I take spare sticks (obviously) and a spare skin for the snare. Anything else I can muddle by with the assistance of good old gaffer tape.

That said, my stick bag contains an assortment of tuning keys, ear plugs, gel pads and various other bits of trickery.

Batteries (for the mic of course), spare leads, a spare mic just in case, and a mic holder. And a setlist. Earplugs ala tinnittus.

plyers, screw drivers, allen keys, strings, polish, cloths, capo, spare leads, a million picks, slide, instructions manuals, mic, the question should be, what's not in my gig bag lol.

You asked...

2 x earplugs
2 x 9 v batteries + tester (Active bass pickups)
2 x sets of old bass strings
Possi and cross head screwdriver
5 different allen keys (for bass bridge)
3 x T10A fuses
1 x T5A fuse
2 x 5A fuses
8 x T1A fuses
all them fuses are for the ashdown amp I have. I took it apart once to have a look at what fuse I needed and there was a total of 10 in there...maybe we should all open our amps up to take a look...there is more than the one at the back!

makes me now think why things aren't a bit more compatible?

Okay, here goes.....
Change of clothes
Change of Hair (yes you read that right, but sometimes the red looks better than the pink)
Spare shoes (in case the first ones hurt)
Duck Tape
Gaffer Tape
Hair Bobbles
Make Up
Deoderant
Diary
Stickers
Mobile (incase babysitter needs me)
and about a 1000 other 'essential' items....

The other half has:
strings, leads, plecs, string conditioner, guitar polish, lemon oil, tuner, fuses etc, tools etc,

You probably didn't need the entire contents of my handbag did you??

no duck tape is my expensive shiny stuff that I buy from B&Q and repair my mic stand with, the gaffer tape is black and sticks the wires to the floor, and comes from the £1 shop!!!

Still got the scutters then Roj? Ours are the mini ones that take up about 12 inches of stage space. As I recall we could have launched the shuttle Discovery from yours. lmao.

Perhaps I'm not doing all this right...I just take a pair of shorts in case I get hot, then if a string snaps or whatever, I just manage without it lol
