Seems that some of the comments may have been construed as 'inappropriate' and likely to cause offense. Well that's my personal take on it.
Knowing most of the contributors personally, I can say without reservation, they were light hearted and simply a case of having a bit of fun on a boring 'no gig' Sunday night. We can be a bit silly sometimes, but that I think is what makes this site work so well, we help each other, take the mick quite frequently and when push comes to shove and need some support, were all in this together.
Most of my comments on this blog have been attributed to me, but truth is Jack bloody Daniels made me write them lol.

in all honesty and without offence meant to anyone , i opened this blog last nite , simply to take people / posters,off the Peasant pluckers blog , which i thought was being taken over ( as we are all guilty of ) at one time or another on here,
purely because i think that blog is a serious matter for us all.
so if i am at fault for opening this , then i apologise to all, but i thought i was helping to calm matters down from previous blogs,
Evidently not !
perhaps Paul could look at a seperate page ,with say , further password protection for all NWB members to have access to for general blogs , be it drival or rants. that no one outside our Clanh of bands etc could access
eh Paul ?
I know web space coasts money , so i for one have no problem in paying should i have to ,and im sure others wont to, that way as he says the NWB muso site is kept as you at least intended.

Well .its a good idea and stops the problems we are having,
i understand as a band member what this site does for us,and it should be kept in a proffesional manner,

but as we are all very friendly on here ,we do seem to forget that other isers / non members even, do use the sight even if only to check the gig guides. so , they dont want to hear us all having a pop at each other ,they may not know we are all ftiends !
it aint good for any of us ehh ?
so a page within this site , or external as The Kerbcrawlers say could be the answer for all us saddo band members .lol

For what its worth, My apologies to Paul and Vicki for entering into this blog. Very unprofessional and not to be repeated. Like Trig sez, we are all friends on here and the banter reflected that, but with hindsight it should have been conducted elsewhere. Back to being back in the good books I hope. Now lets get some gigs booked and bands out there this week end

I understand that some members need to have some kind of "play pen", for general discussion. The new NWB site will be able to cater for such discussion areas.

In the mean time, I think Ians idea of a forum might be a good intermediate solution.

It's only fair on the community members as a whole that we keep any off topic post/comments to a minimum. With the amount of blogs being posted each month, its getting more and more difficult to filter the good stuff.
