Nowt special at the moment but could get better!
We played the newly opened Halfway House in Ashton last night,
being newly opened we weren't expecting it to be chocker and we were right!
Not to many in unfortunately but the ones that were their made it worth doing!
We had an audience of about 20 but they all got into to it one way or another, singing dancing an all the actions that go with it,except for Charlie who just sat there suppin??
Theres a small'ish stage but plenty of room for you to use on the big dance floor, sockets are sparce but adequate!
This place does have potential though, it's in a good spot for a community gathering of nutty rockers!
only problem being the noise Police issue has reared it's ugly head again??
So we had to keep it down a bit,but still managed a descent level to play at!
Another issue is the fee!!!!!!!
It wasn't what we thought we were gonna get so double check this if you book!!
But nice pub and nice customers, and we managed to get a private party booking from it and a promise of a gig at new place in Oldham? [tell you about that when I know more mi-self?]
so was worth doing!
