Except for the Gales !!!!!!!
Had a cracking Fri and Sat nights rocking at the King Eddies. Started off with Wolfpack on Friday night. When we arrived at 9ish Andy , the drummer still hadn't arrived, and like us got stuck on the M6 (bloody nightmare, took us three hours to drive from Royton), still was well worth the trip as the lads gave they're usual high quality performance........and got a free Marseille cd .......cheers Nidge, played it all the way back home on Sunday.
Sat night went back to King Eddies for a triple header band night....Fallen... Citizen Charlie.....Nightvision, all really good bands doing mostly originals.............the best of them being Citizen Charlie, who blew us away. theyre from Norway, fronted by a young girl with a fantastic voice, go see them if you get a chance people, you won't regret it.
First time we've been to King Eddies, great pub for bands, lets hope whoever is taking over the reins keeps it that way.
