Deal or no Deal?

A pair of Makie SRM450 active speakers. all leads,stands and a souncraft efx8 desk...


Ive just had a rush of blood and bought the above gear on E-bay, 18 months old and used around 10 times. Not sure if I got a lttle carried away..before I tell the missus..how much would you pay?..tell you later what I actually paid :0S

oops..that's a pair of Mackie SRM450 powered speakers with all leads, Proel speaker stands, and a soundcraft EFX8 mixer with onboard lexicon effects processor....oh..and a spare speaker stand..lol

well...........probably normally go for about £625 -650...
however seeing you must have got a bargain...I'll go for £425 on the grounds you got the speakers cheap and when you collected they decided to throw in the mixer and stands :o)

£500 for the Mackie's unless they're the chinese one's and £75 for the bits?

yeh might have been a little stingy...are they the V2's?
OK then...I'll add another £150...should be £725-750...you paid erm..£620?....only just noticed the only used 10 times bit!)
(thought you might have got a super bargain LOL)

unless the ooeerrrrr is a red herring, and you got them for £350 or so because the person who sold them didn't put a reserve, had them ending at 4am on a Saturday and you had to collect from Orkney or somewhere??

The one saving grace is ; you've bought friggin good gear that'll last you donkeys years and give great service and a quality sound!

ok ok..I paid 720 for the whole kit and caboodle.. I know the desk aint an allen & heath but its got everything I need..8 channels and effects built in..and list is around the 270 mark..so..now to tell her who must be ignored...yoiiiks !
