Both NT and HOTD have played there quite recently to a good reception. As a bonus it seerms the girls behind the bar dress up specially.
I want to do an in-depth review of that element of the gig (PLEASE)!!!!

G. The pub is in Bromley Cross, Don't want Luis wandering off somewhere else on Saturday, his knowledge of NWB territory is not brilliant , but will improve vastly over the coming months given the locations you guys play in

loads a room here no probs there!! can be a bit on the quiet side early doors sometimes crowd stay in other room until beer kicks in and inhibitions drop! Bosses tryin hard to build up the repu of the place as it took a knock a few years ago - each time we've been back its been better than previous!
have a good one anyway whatever happens!!

We've had some good 'uns there.
Never had any trouble. Landlord walks around with a black cloud over his head, landlady likes a drink.
You won't get lost, the place is called the "Railway" at Bromley Cross.
It's a real coincidence Bromley Cross railway station is opposite the pub.

The venue is building up, despite them having been saddled with a change of night for the bands. The place used to do really well on a Saturday, but the previous landlords moved everything over to Fridays. I think they have a well supported folk night that would be just as equally well supported on a Friday and people would come in for the bands if they were playing on Saturdays again.

Funnily enough, I went to the huge school across the road - just look for the blue Guinness Rock History plaque over the school door (it's very very very tiny - you won't find it). The place opposite is the pub.
