a strange yet enjoyable night

we filled in pretty much last minute at the top lock last night. A small place with the biggest twat of a neighbour on the entire planet. The noise police are on permanent stand by with this guy, we were warned before hand but when you set off at less than a quarter of the volume (and we're not loud by any means) of usual gigs only to be told he has called the police already, it doesn't fill you with enthusiasm. Either way the gig went well and we got good feedback from the punters, we were expecting it to be dead (school night) but it was quite busy. Massive thanks to Dee & Dave from the Hindley Arms for getting their visa's sorted and venturing to the back of beyond to see us, we are humbled and honoured.
