The soundtrack to your life

For anyone who's interested

So what is it?

Well, put simply, the soundtrack to your life is a list of songs which mean something to you. The catch is that each song has to have an emotional attachment i.e. it must remind you of a place, a person, a feeling, an event. Something. Anything. Such that if someone asked why a particular song was in the list, there would be a story behind it. Try and stick to around 100 songs. Some will say 100 is too many, some will say 100 is not enough.

I recently got a few friends interested in this, and the feedback has been all positive, so I thought I'd share it here. They found it an interesting and worthwhile little exercise which gave them an excuse to go through entire catalogues of music and listen to songs they'd not heard for ages. It also evoked some forgotten memories and emotions.

I urge you to try it and get your friends to try it. You won't regret it.
