DIO UK Tour Cancelled??

Just heard from a friend that this was announced on Planet Rock! Is this a wind up???


apparently he has come down with illness. Gutted if its true but cannot find any news of it anywhere else yet. Anyone heard any differently?

18TH November 2009 – Unfortunately, due to illness, the Dio tour that was scheduled to start this weekend in Glasgow has been cancelled. The dates will not be rescheduled and refunds will be avialble at point of purchase

There is nothing on the Dio website but its on Rock Radio. Apparantly refunds are available becuase they are not resheduling. Gutted!!
