Chieftans used to be quite reasonable Jackie, as were the Undertones, U2,Clannad Oooooooh You mean to gig at your place?

Haaaa Haa

I'll have a look, but there may be one or two bands on here that would fit the bill.

I think you should! We actually do a couple of Van the Man songs (albeit when he was with Them)...I could bring my acoustic and do a bit of twiddly diddly stuff..and I drink Bushmills now and again...got a bodhran too LOL (used to run a folk club actually!)

Jackie, You just had an offer from the most unusual band on here (according to another blog that is).
Alecs Night Train for a fun St Paddys night? I should say so. Now if I was booking a band for the Eddy that night they would be my first choice.

Get Rattle & Hum, the u2 tribute band on: www.rattleandhum-u2tribute.co.uk
I was in U2-II, the band who did hindley arms paddy's night last year, seemed to sit really well with the irish theme.

Just my t'pence

I still havent seen Night Train....shame on me....I've seen lots of videos but would love to watch them for a full gig...whens the next gig at the Eddy? Our place Keef is quite different from the Eddy, I think.....they have the joy of being nearer town centre which definitely attracts a different crowd from us. In saying that, we have learned loads this past year and perhaps getting the place full to capacity (smaller than Eddy) for Night Train should be my next aim lol.....x
