Sad news

Just heard RJD has stomach cancer.
One of rocks finest vocalists IMHO.
Will dig out Rainbow Rising and On Stage when I get home tonight.
God bless Ronnie

I know it always causes alot of controversy among Black Sabbath fans, but I really do think 'Heaven and Hell' and 'Mob Rules' are 2 mighty fine albums. Ronnie may be small in stature, but he sure is huge in vocals.
Here's to a speedy recovery.

That's terrible news, he's a great vocalist. Tarot Woman on Rainbow Rising is just incredible. Heaven and Hell is also a much underrated album. Hope he gets better soon.

I remeber hearing 16th Century Greensleeves in about 1976, as a sprightly teenager, on Capital radio's rock show. Went and bought the album the next day. Never been disappointed by his vocal talent.
Holy Diver will be played by HOTD Saturday night at the Old Man & Scythe.
