This is confession time !!

Is there any band Rock or Not, who you would have given your mother for to go and see,
but never had the chance. Or had the chance but not allowed!!
Think back to when you were young.

This is confession time and I will confess to mine later in the show

and Yes it really is that sad !!

Had my ticket to see Nirvana in Glasgow. Just 1 week to go and he decides to mistake a shotgun for a sausage...the git lol

Not the worlds biggest Nirvana fan, but was really looking forward to that gig, and will always wonder what it would have been like to see them live.

OK, confession time.
My daughter really wanted to go and see Michael Jackson, and without admitting to her, so did I lol

I tried for hours to get tickets and never did, so I thought I would just wait until the gigs started and would see if any became available at a reasonable price on Ebay or something.

Being the whipper snapper than I am I would have loved to have experienced the whole Punk scene in the late 70's with the Pistols, Sham 69, Buzzcocks etc. I know some of the original Punk bands are touring today but its not the same and I was minus 5 when it all happened.

But I'm not only a Punk fan, I would have loved to see:
Queen
Bob marley (although Ive seen the Wailers support UB40 with Ziggy on vocals)
Abba
The Jam (original line up)
Nirvana
Big Country
Everclear

Okay heres my confession

Early 90's just before they split I had the opportunity to go and see Duran Duran

Yes its true I am a Duranie!!

But because I was only 12 my Mum said no even tho we were gonna be with an adult.

And I missed them again when they re-formed because we were skint and you can laugh all you want, but if they tour again (unlikely) I will be there don't even care if they sound shit at least I'll be able to say I've done it. :)

springsteen
neil young
U2
the Rolling Stones

all of which I could have seen in the last 15 years or so .. except .. in ARENAS ... and unfortunately (for me, not them) i DON'T DO ARENAS ... life sucking money making atmosphere lacking sound-is-shite places that they are!!
but then that's my loss i suppose!

I was lucky enough to see Faith No More in their prime with Jim Martin, when they actually looked like they enjoyed what they were doing. Having watched their performance at Download last year, they were a shadow of their former selves.

shame, still one of my fav bands of all time.
