looking to fill some dates
looking for gigs in 2010 for Medusa's Curse - indie pop/ pop punk www.myspace.com/medusascurseband

If you want gigs then get off your arse and go and get some..... Use the internet to research where other bands of your type play. Get in a car and go to the venue/pub whatever. Speak to the manager, give them your 'sales pitch'. and be nice, polite and respectful to people. Don't get all shirty when you get told 'sorry, we're fully booked try next year' or 'sorry, we dont want your type of band on here' etc Keep a diary and keep in touch with venues..... It's easy.....just do it...
cheers but I'm hardly on my backside :)I stand up for most my gigs Just back from a solo afternoon gig ...I do actually do all of the above already but thanks for the advice.
I'm sorry ... theFish is on the hook once more ... @the last Gang ... you missed out one thing on your list ... Use networking sites such as this (a music/venue/fan networking site) to try and get gigs or leads for gigs....... Now if you want to comment on blogs then get off your arse and do some research about what that particulat person is or is not doing before posting such condescending "advice". Willowtookthebait!!
I see willow is putting in a good shift on a sunday for the thought police. What's up, are you fed up telling young bands how great, wise and wonderful you are!!!??? Seems I can't make a comment without you being all over it....bloody stalkers...
I just read and react. as for stalkers ... be careful what you wish for! LOL WtF
