suggestions for full on rock nights/pubs in the North West??

Thanks for all the track suggestions on the last post, some have made it into the set :)

Need some more help if possible... does anyone have any suggestions of good rock nights or pubs that have rock nights that we could approach with our kind of music??

we've all been in bands before and one of the mission statements in Final Hour was to not compromise on the music... and not to play to crowds that wouldn't appreciate that

Bikers do's are perfect so do any of you guys know any pubs/rock nights/MC's that would fit??

(spoke to someone on friday who's got a contact at the Bulldog Bash for next year, he's the official photographer, so if you've got any contacts with MC clubs for him and fancy playing to 23,000 on a side stage next year, give me a shout :)

Hey Gary
I gave Ian the details of Julia from the Retrobar.
They are trying to do a rock night on thursday nights.
It was pretty busy the first time we played, but not quite as busy the second time we played.
Plus, you'll only get expenses and free drinks, but, if like us, you are just after a gig to tighten up the live set then it might be worth a go.

cheers

Scott

You could try Whittles in Oldham or Hark to Towler in Tottington. We.re on the lookout for good entertaining bands for our rally in July, have you any gigs lined up where we could check you out?

Just for any potential venue/club thinking of hiring these guys then go for it, they supported us at the Millenium BC October rock night this year and all I can say is they where superb !

all pure profesional, sounds great and some pukka tricky tracks delivered with a good punch.

If you need any help Gary, either support or to support give us a shout.

we're on at the Last Orders, Wed 16th Dec (church street in preston, near the bus station) and there's rumour of a sneaky Twisted Sister Crimbo song getting into the set :-)

Big thanks and respect to Steve Gee from Kingfist who stepped in at the last minute on guitar duties at our last orders gig on 16.12.09.. the guy literally had only a few short hours to learn an 85 minute set.. a cool guy and an awesome guitar player.. Ian - Final Hour
