First Blog on here.

Just a quick ‘un to the people of NWB to say hello.
We’re a 5 piece indie rock n roll band from around the Burnley/Lancashire area.

We’ve been going roughly about a year, and have been lucky enough to play plenty of gigs around the North West building up a decent fan base in the area. We play originals and covers or just originals depending on the venue.

I’ve seen a few of the bands who post on here, hope to see a lot more in the future. This site seems great, and anything which boosts the band scene of the north west can only be a good thing.

We're pretty new here, too, and we got one hell of a warm welcome and some great advice from the veterans that lurk these pages.

welcome to the site, its a real good place to meet friends, get gigs and promote your band, we try to go and see all the bands on here as much as possible to give them support, that is when we are not gigging ourselves that is, anyway best of luck guys cheers tony

cheers for all the comments! and we're in the process of booking more gigs for Jan/Feb and maybe over Christmas next year, we have our own massive PA, so we can pretty much play anywhere.

We've already got a few more gigs that we need to finalise..having 5 people in the band is hard work - making sure everyone is free, sure many people here have that problem!

the list of covers and originals we do is on our profile as well. plus theres more than we do acoustic in the middle of sets sometimes.

the fix - yeah same band, just re-invented! the demos on our myspace are given out free on a cd at gigs. recorded at Calder Studios near Hebden Bridge if anyone is looking for a good studio. Cant recommend it enough. Deffo gonna get round to seeing you boys soon!
