Thanks for help tonight

We are currently in the struggle to find a new drummer which is hard enough with all the wannabe's out there wasting your time?
but when things aren't working out and members cant be there, it's great to be able to turn to this site and find a fellow band's member who's willing to help you out for the night!
Which is what happened tonight!
So big thanks to "gibsonbass" Rob for stepping in and helping us try out and get shut of yet another timewaster!
Robs a really nice guy and great bassist and I very much hope we can work together again sometime in the future!
Rob yer a star mate !

we have had a stand in drummer for the past two gigs, while our drummer was away on holiday, he is Rick from fuschi 3, hes an extremly good drummer, however i know what you are saying dyehouse, I once had a stand in drummer previously we hadnt met him before, he arrived early at the practice place and came out of the toilets and he was really scruffy and looked unwashed, colin a previous member of the band said to him oi have you been sleeping rough in here ?, he replied no im the drummer and proptly went to get his drums, the only way i could descibe his drums where they looked like a set of peak freans assorted biscuits, when he started playing it was just like somebody had thrown a bunch of spanners at some old dustbins.
